Alas, Larry it isn't always possible to tell just what's in those files posted to APPLE2-L until they've been downloaded and upacked. Most of those "CDA" files that have been posted already are Apple II Binary libraries that have been run through Gary Bredon's EXECUTIONER. I unpacked the whole bunch for our local computer club. There are 20 or so IIgs desktop accessories and documentation. Since I have only a //e, I can only speculate about what wonderous feats those CDA's and NDA's might accomplish. Even from UUCP, you should be able to subscribe to the list, because Chris can put your address in by hand if the server can't figure out how to make it work (I haven't heard that you've received mail from me addressed directly to 'n8emr' but sometimes Brown's mailer seems to deliver more effectively than ours). Whether you can get the server to send you back files is open to question (robots have even more trouble with UUCP addresses than people!). --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@wiscvm.wisc.edu Murphy A.
