You are a non-bitnet site and I am not sure that files (as opposed to mail) will make it across the gateway. Listserv was designed for bitnet use. Also it is for IBM systems and IBM systems like to send files and NOT mail. So if you don't get the files, it means that your system cannot handle files and therefore you will not be able to retrieve old postings without having someone "translate" the file into mail format.
