Does anyone know anything about SAFEWARE insurance for computers? They
have an ad in the back of A+ magazine. They say that $39 a year gets
you blanket coverage for up to $2000 worth of equipment. No list of
equipment is required, and they say they pay replacement cost (not
depreciated value) on all equipment. Coverage is against fire, theft,
accidental damage, etc. with a $50 deductable per claim. It also
covers your media and purchased software. Sounds like a better deal
than Applecare. Has anyone dealt with this company? Are they a
reputable firm? How are they at handling claims? If you know anything
about this company, any information on them would be greatly
appreciated.
