I can't seem to get an UNSUBSCRIBE message through. In a fit of enthusism I somehow did manage to get the SUBSCRIBE message through, but now would like to be taken off. As I said eariler, I had misunderstood how the APPLE2-L list on BROWNVM worked -- I had wrongly assumed that all that was sent out unsolicited was notices of files that had been posted, which one could then request if one was interested, rather than the way it actually works. I'll just have to do the GET NOTEBOOK operation (or whatever it was) every once in awhile. (I should know better than to think about using unknown software from unknown sources anyway.)
