Does anyone know how to copy a file (just a BAS file) from one disk drive to another without having to use the system utilities program to do it for you? Is there a PRODOS command or a subroutine or SOMETHING available on for an APPLE IIC which I can use from within a BASIC program? If you can help, send mail to: E-mail : ihlpl!shan or Call: (312)-979-6994 (Leave message) Thanks in advance!!!!!

The easiest way is to get yourself a copy command addition to Basic.System. Nibble magazine published one a while back. I think Open Apple did too. There's also one on Beagle Bros' "Big U" disk and on Checkmate's MultiRam utility disk. Michael Wertheim Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, PA Arpa: mw22@andrew.cmu.edu Bitnet: mw22@cmuccvma
