[comp.sys.apple] dupe msgs complaint

Occassionally I get duplicate copies of messages in my mailbox, but the last
couple of days indicates things are getting significantly worse.  This 
morning's mail, for example, had 16 messages:

From the above list of 16 messages, there are 9 unique messages.

   19 = 21
   20
   22
   23 = 24
   25 = 26
   27 = 28 = 29
   30
   31
   32 = 33 = 34

Is there some new version of network software which has an apparently
unknown glitch?  What can be done to correct the situation?  What should
I do?

All of the dupes appear to be related to one of three distribution lists:
Info-Micro, Info-Apple, or CADInterest^.
