Hello fellow Netlanders, I have a question concerning AppleWorks Version 2 and configuration of printers. I'm asking for a friend, so I'll give all the details I have. My friend is trying to configure AppleWorks to print on a NEC Spinwriter 552 printer (daisy wheel). He has a Apple Super Serial Card. Everything seems to work on ok for screen dumps. (this means baud rate parity etc is correct) Whenever he tries to print something using the print command he gets some codes at the beginning of each line. The first line had an "12@" on it. The rest of the lines began with "080" (or something like that. maybe it was a permutation of those digits). I realize the printer is a fairly old model but any help would be greatly appreciated! I myself have no experience with AppleWorks. PLEASE SEND ALL REPLIES TO ME AS I DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO THIS LIST!
