I'm probably going to get *flamed* for this but I've just sent a
file to APPLE2-L@BROWNVM.BITNET - which should then, I hope,
become part of LISTSERV@BROWNWVM.BITNET.
The file: AUTOHINTS.EXEC (4 bit EXEC) will BSAVE itself as
Auto.Hints so PLEEZE have a blank, formatted disk ready when you
download this and EXEC it under ProDOS.

but is probably a lot cheaper than calling your mechanic every
time your car has a problem.
This ABASIC program, after being EXEC'd will give you some
hints on what is wrong with your car's
(1) Engine System
(2) Starting System
(3) Battery and charging system
(4) Cooling system
(5) Suspension and Steering
(6) Brakes
If you choose any one of 1-6 listed above, you'll then be
prompted for what could possibly be the problem, i.e., SUSPENSION
and STEERING: Car wanders? Erratic steering when braking?
Steering wheel doesn't return to center easily after making
a turn? and so on; after choosing erratic steering when braking
you'll then get a list of 5-10 things that might have to be
checked to correct the problem.
