A week or so ago information on deARCing files on apples was distributed. As it happens a program for the GS is listed on both GENI and CompuServe and soon likely on other bulletin Boards. Unfortunately it is too large to be converted into an execution type file. How ever it is available a shareware for $15 from: Tim Swihart P.O. I downloaded said program (to dearc files on a Apple) to my GS (running the new p16, etc.) and also downloaded a vanilla .arc file from this site. When I tried to dearc the files, all I got was garbage - hard to explain and I WISH I could show you. Lots of flashing lines, weird scrollings, etc. So far, no luck. -- Larry W.
