Anybody have a copy of a Basic compiler (don't laugh - it's a decent programming language for my 8-year old to learn on) that runs under ProDos for the II/e? Interested in selling it? please mail me a response - I don't fish here often gunsch@m.cs.uiuc.edu

I have seen three Basic compilers for the Apple: Microsoft's TASC, the Einstein Compiler, and the Beagle Compiler. The first two run only under DOS 3.3 and aren't too user friendly. Go with the Beagle Compiler. Michael Wertheim Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, PA Arpa: mw22@andrew.cmu.edu Bitnet: mw22@cmuccvma UUCP: ...!{seismo, ucbvax, harvard}!andrew.cmu.edu!mw22#

Beagle Compiler speeds up (on average) 40%. (Not great) It is VERY easy to use. Chris Schumann schumann@puff
