[No cute message]

Here are my favorite Christian Rock artists -- all are highly
recommended and can be listened to (in my opinion) by anyone with
    a social conscience:

    Randy Stonehill:
Born Twice (1970) -- impossible to find & not great
Welcome to Paradise (1976) -- Solid Rock Records
The Sky is Falling (1980) -- Solid Rock Records
Between the Glory and the Flame (1982) -- Myrrh Records
	Equator (1983) -- Myrrh Records
Celebrate this Heartbeat (1984) -- Myrrh Records

catch him in concert if possible! Write me if you want more
details. His style is eclectic. Best of everything.

    Dave Edwards:
	Dave Edwards (1981?)
	Get the Picture (1982)

the first is very new wave. The second is more mellow.
    both are great.

    Steve Taylor:
	I Want to be a Clone (1982)
	Meltdown (1984)

Christian Punk. Non-Christians may find it hard to relate to
a lot of the songs because they deal with problems inside the
church. I like the first album much better than the second.

    Daniel Amos Band
Horrendous Disc (I've never heard this one)
	!Alarma!
	Doppelga"nger

Alarma is VERY good new-wave. Doppelga"nger just doesn't
thrill me at all. "Baby Game" & "Faces to the Window" from
!Alarma! are two of the best new wave songs I've heard. Daniel
Amos band used to be Country & Western.

Keith Green (deceased) and Larry Norman are two of the real
big names in Christian rock. Both are good. Servant isn't bad.

Here are a few of my favorite Christian artists:

DON FRANSISCO: He sings different syles of music, such as folk,
country, and rock. His albums include:

                  FORGIVEN
	          BROTHER OF THE SON
	          THE TRAVELER
	          HOLINESS

PETRA: A Christian rock group who are liked by both
Christians and non-Christians alike. They are
as good or even better than the majority of
`secular' rock groups that are around today.
Their last 3 albums are their best. They include:

                  MORE POWER TO YA
	          NEVER SAY DIE
	          NOT OF THIS WORLD

MICHAEL W SMITH: He has a light rock sound. He has two very good
albums out, in which Amy Grant is one of the girls
singing in the background. They are:

                  MICHAEL W. SMITH
		  MICHAEL W. SMITH 2

SILVERWIND: A very good Christian group whose lead singer grew
up in a Communist country and escaped a few years
back. They have a sound which can be appreciated by
everyone, as their music is not too loud, but
played at a very comfortable level. Their style is
rock, but nothing hard. They have two albums out:

		  A SONG IN THE NIGHT
		  SILVERWIND

These are just a few that I listen to and enjoy very much.

[Keeping my shadow beneath my feet]

If you like ABBA, you'll like Silverwind. If you're not
listening closely, you won't be sure which it is.
