I would like to know what software and maybe associated hardware that would enable me to print Chinese characters. The computers I have accessed to are ibm pc, apple IIc and Mactinosh (SE I think). It would be best if a database is available to store the characters. Appreciate any info.

The Xerox CStar operating system can do Chinese text on Xerox computers. I believe that UCBerkeley, among other universities, may have Xerox computers. Ask Xerox Customer Service @ 1-800-822-2502 for info. I also have seen the IBMpc compatible software by Cambridge Software. The agent, I believe is in Milpitas( or Fremont), CA. This requires the Herculus graphics board to run. Michael
