[comp.sys.apple] Print Shop ][GS

Just got my update disk in the mail from Broderbund today. Surprise! It's on
a 3.5" disk. At any rate, the program requires at least 512K to run and
according to the manual, will run under Prodos 16 if you got at least 768K.

This is all fine and dandy, however.....

The f*****g program won't run!!!! Correction, I got it to run ONCE! And this
was only after first loading the Apple ][ Desktop and then selecting the file
PS.system from there. The disk will not self-load even though the manual says
it will.

Now, I've got a GS-RAM card with 768K on it. I've tried various settings in
the Control Panel to no avail. The damn thing jsut refuses to run. It keeps
giving me a message about not being able to find enough free ram. I've tried
warm-booting, cold booting, and every combination of startup program I've got.
Nothing but the same stupid message!

However, the time I *did* get it to run, I was impressed! To begin with, it's
nice to be able to have mouse control. The color and the overall look of the
program are impressive. Quite a few new features have been added.

Guess I'm going to have to give Broderbund Tech. support a call!

Either that, or I'm overlooking something really obvious!
