When all else fails, read the documentation. Your Kermit is dead because the Super Serial driver REQUIRES that the interrupts switch on the card (SW2-6 as I recall, I haven't got my SSC manual at the office) be ON (enabled). If the switch is off, your Kermit will send but not receive. BTW Kermit 3.xx works fine at 4800 but starts to lose characters at 9600 because that exceeds the speed of the Apple 80 Col Card ROM (Apple's card is pennywise and pound foolish -- it uses software scrolling instead of, for only a few bucks more, hardware scrolling which would have made writing commware MUCH easier). --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@wiscvm.wisc.edu Murphy A.
