You may be interested in knowing that the revised Bard's Tale GS from Electronic Arts appears to have been released without the dreaded copy-protection that EA is known for. I have it running on my hard drive with no problems, and made an archival copy with a normal disk copying utility. So far there has been no ill effects in game play and a significant increase in boot up speed due to running on hard disk.
