A friend asked me to find out if there is a way to capture TEXT information on the screen, and print it. This is NOT the same as for graphics, since graphics pages do not go "bye-bye" when a program finishes executing; in fact, countless such "grappler" programs do exist. Rather, he wants to print the TEXT page. If anyone out there knows of such a program (preferably PD, or ShareWare, but he will also consider a real purchase) please respond by E-mail, since I do not subscribe to this News group. Thanks in advance, ...!cmcl2!philabs!tg!actnyc!srk

Kevin Stiles asked how to send the screen image to an Imagewriter from a IIE. The easiest way is through a printer interface that supports screen dumps. Several firms make such interfaces. I haven't used any, so I can't vouch for them, however, you might check out the Serial Grappler, a multifunction card from Applied Engineering, the Grappler + Serial from Orange Micro, Print-It from Textprint or Fingerprint from Thirdward.
