SEWALL@UCONNVM.BITNET (11/28/87)
Although you'll undoubtedly get a few info-apple readers who'll ask that you post your WIZFIX to info-apple, you'll find there are even more subscribers who'd rather not receive that, or any other, 20K+ file. There are LOTS of systems on USENET which simply don't have the storage capacity to handle elephantine mail files. If you haven't written Larry Virden to indicate an interest in comp.binaries.apple, do so (as should anyone who wants wizfix but didn't get it). Most of the folks who want Wizfix should have received it from APPLE2-L. If you get mail from people who can't/don't get APPLE2-L, you'll probably make everyone happier if you simply send them WIZFIX directly (assuming you receive a legal address - you may not as that's the most frequent reason for not getting APPLE2-L, but info-apple is NOT a reasonable way around address problems). NOTE the NEW NEW NEW routing on my arpa address to bitnet (below). If the CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU gateway doesn't work for you just yet, it should by next week (the gate is definately working from bitnet-->arpanet, I'm not sure about vice versa at the moment). --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu Murphy A.
