To Dipto Chakravarty I have never used WORD HANDLER, but it seems to use it's own format to store files, as so many word processors do. The first thing to try is is to check the manual for a PRINT TO DISK option. This should allow you to create a standard text file from your data unlike the ones created by a SAVE.
