Got lots of requests to add xedit support to the mouse feature I've tacked on to Kermiit 3.80 (it's *not* an official feature (yet)). I started with just emacs, but have added vi and "blind vt100" modes, and would like to ad an xedit mode. Could an xedit user tell me, from a point in the text, what character(s) would you type to: 1. move the cursor one space to the right 2 " " " left 3. " " one line up 4. " " one line down 5. " " to the beginning of the file 6. " " to the end of the file 7. " " to the beginning of the line 8. " " to the end of the line 9. " " up one screen 10. " " down one screen 11. Save the file (in the normal way). 12. Quit xedit (in the normal way). It's a tall order, but you'll get mouse control in xedit from your apple if you give me this info. Thanks, and keep those suggestions coming (I've made the auto-quit work only with the mouse, for you customizers -- use the typed "quit" to get to basic). Will update the APPLE2-L files when I finish the changes. Mark crimmins@russell.stanford.edu (arpa)
