Even from UUCP, it's easy to post programs to APPLE2-L. The major problem we've had with the list is (it's a robot after all) getting it to figure out how to REPLY to users from UUCP. Actually, it should (I use that word advisedly since the only way to be sure is to try) be able to reply to think.com. The second problem is that ASCII (not IBM mainframe) to EBCDIC (IBM mainframe) and vice versa translations seem to corrupt EXECUTIONER 6-byte format (please use 4-byte) which causes a problem for anyone whose is reached through a netgate (even other IBM systems whose gateway is through non-IBM arpanet).
