I was recently contacted by one of the staff from a local (Ft Walton Beach, FL) school for handicapped children regarding sources for software and hardware for their students. In the software area they're looking for products designed for speech therapy and occupational therapy. In the hardware area they're looking for non-manual keyboard/input devices (specifically - they've heard about varying types of headgear which use head/eye movements and respond by typing characters into the computer). I'm not familiar with this equipment but I do recall a similar discussion/search on this net a few months ago. If anyone out there in net land knows of a source for any of the above, please send e-mail to me or post on the net here and I'll relay to the school. BTW, they can't afford to invest in a new computer system so all they're interested in is Apple compatible products for their //e. Eric S. Ford ------
