[comp.sys.apple] Appleworks Problem Revisited

halp@TCGOULD.TN.CORNELL.EDU ("Bruce P. Halpern") (12/10/87)

The August 1987 issue of _Open-Apple_ (Vol. 3, no. 7, pg. 3.56) has a patch
supplied by Randy Brandt of Jem Software that is said to increase the size
of AppleWorks 2.0 catalog buffer such that it holds 130 filenames.
The patch is:

             POKE 768,48
             POKE 769,29
             BSAVE SEG.M1,T0,L2,A$300,B$1428A

Jem Software sells a disk, "Patch Mania", for $20, that evidently has a number
of AppleWorks patches on it (P.O.Box 20920, El Cajon CA 92021).
