I called WordPerfect re: the new version for the GS, and was told that I should have a copy within the next 10 days (this was 7 days ago, and no copy yet, but I'm hopeful) I was told that they were supposed to go out at Thanksgiving time, but they were held at the last minute for more revision (bug fixing). They started sending them on the 2nd of December. Re:programs for the GS Thexder has to be one of the best arcde games written for a home computer. The graphics are well done (3-D objects rotating smoothly, transformation into a jet actually shows the transformation, not some bizarre folding, the screen scrolls faster than I thought possible for the 'slow' screen of the GS, and the music is incredible. My complaints: it uses keyboard, even though it's done well, and the master disk MUST be inserted on running, making the backup almost useless, although I guess it's for their protection. A must if you're into arcade games. Anyone heard about Deluxe Music Construction Set for the GS? I've seen preview screens (in Apple's pamphlet, I think) but I haven't seen the finished product.
