I got to looking at the BACKGAMMON program that was posted to APPLE2-L. If it's downloaded as is it will NOT be possible to simply EXEC it because the file is 80 columns wide but some of the BAS lines were longer than that. Fortunately the software that was used to ship the file to APPLE2-L "wrapped" the long lines, but they have to be spliced (by hand, yucchh 8-( ) before downloading or before EXECing. It would be nice, if contributors of BASic programs would either do the program editing to make sure all the lines are no more than 80 columns or use the EXECUTIONER to encrypt them in 4byte. --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu Murphy A.
