MasterType (if they haven't been bought out by someone, that's Lightning Software) came out with a Dvorak (optional) version shortly after the //c was introduced. My daughters learned to touch type on an older version of the program that I purchased in '83 when I bought my //e. I think it's a pretty good typing program (I've heard some complaints from classroom teachers about its arcade qualitites); my 11 year old types away at roughly 45 words per minute and never has to look at either screen or keyboard while doing so (her 12 year old sister hasn't practiced as much - she types at only 36 and frequently needs to divert her eyes from her draft to the screen). May you soon by typing (in Dvorak) at 200 wpm. --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu Murphy A. Sewall BITNET: SEWALL@UCONNVM School of Business Admin.
