Could somebody (don't everyone speak at once) please remind me where the apple kermit files are on NOSC and/or Columbia? I've finally moved my modem over to the GS (still through super serial card -- can't use the built-in until I get new programs) and would like to FTP the latest version of apple kermit. (no point when I was still on the II+ since I don't think the VT100 emulation worked on that even with the 80-col. card) TMPLee@DOCKMASTER.ARPA

Thanks to Ted Medin for the directory name at NOSC, from where I got the documentation, and to Andy Sewall for directly emailing me the EZ install package. No sweat getting kermit 3.80 up and running and so far seems just fine. Although I don't think multics understands the VT100 cursor control keys (and since I've never used one I don't either) the rest of the emulation, i.e., output, works just fine under emacs and the similar mini-emacs used on command line entry. Haven't tried a file-transfer yet, but I'm sure that will be OK.
