Well, I picked up an old apple II+ (mostly) compatible computer, a strange thing called an "Eve", and it died recently. (In case you are wondering, it was/is a portable computer, with two disk drives, and requires a special startup disk to run apple stuff. As far as I know, no software was ever written for it, but it ran apple stuff (games mostly) fine. Came with a tiny amber monitor (a larger one could be hooked up), and 64K RAM.) I took it to my local apple expert, and he said that it looked as though the power supply had died. Now, can anyone tell me where in the world I could get another power supply, or could someone point me to anyone who has any notion of how I might get it fixed otherwise? I use my IBM for most of my stuff, but I miss Ultima and Wizardry! Thank you for any information you might have out there... you're my last hope! -- dan farmer (ajm@k.cc.purdue.edu)
