Sender: Followup-To: Distribution: After playing Wizardry IV intensely for a while, I've come across several questions: 1) What is the purpose of the Inferno on level 2? 2) What is the purpose of the Orange Rod circling around the Ziggurat on level 4? 3) Is there anything significant about the Priest's Hole and Scenic Vista atop the Ziggurat (level 4)? 4) Does it make a difference whether you get the East Wind Sword, the West Wind Sword, or the Dragon's Claw? 5) Has anyone figured out the nature of the spinners on level 5? 6) Has anyone found the stairs to level 6 yet? I have all of level 5 mapped out but somehow missed the stairs up. For any of you who can't resist the temptation to cheat on character stats I've got valuable info! Cheating only helps alleviate the frustration of getting killed all the time...it certainly does not make the game easier or less enjoyable (at least to me). Anyways, I have the power over gold, char level, hit points, spells (mage AND priest!), armor class, # of monsters in party, monster types, the 6 main attributes (strength, IQ, etc.). What I don't know but desperately need to know is how to manipulate the party's maze coordinates. Does anyone know how to do this? I wish MALOR would just work! -- To insure my reception of any replies, please respond via e-mail.
