Personal Financial Services has a very nice AppleWorks template named 1040WORKS (it was originally TAXWORKS, but apparently that named was already in use for IBM and CP/M software). There are versions for 128K and 256K ][e and ][c, for 51/4 in drives and 31/2 drives, etc. It prints all forms except the magic 1040 form itself, which the IRS evidently is especially fond of. A large supply of edge-punched par that is acceptable to IRS for most forms is included, as well as a program to print more if necessary. There are interfaces from one form to another. p.s. I found your indication of zero knowledge of Apple ][ software interesting. It appears to confirm the claim that Claris has no interest in Apple ][ products except as a source of funds for Mac software development. :w :q! ^] ****DISCLAMER: My comments, etc., are my own shakey opinions ******** | Bruce P.
