Here's a strong second of all of the above.  My wife and I saw "The
Natural" last night and loved it.  Although the "baseball" scenes are
overrated (too staged and too far from "real" baseball action), the
cinematography has that warm glow that Stanley Kaufmann likes so much.
Wilfred Brimley is just fine as "Pop", the beleagured New York Knights
manager, too, in a role somewhat like his startling brief appearance in 
"Absence of Malice".
