Hi folks. Quick question: I am developing software that provides a gateway between IBMs and Apples. One of the things that this entails is converting Apple files to IBM files (i.e. AppleWorks files to 1-2-3 or WordPerfect, etc.) The key thing that I am missing here is the AppleWorks file formats! I recall at one point that they were distributed on the Apple technical notes that are sent to members of the Apple User Group Connection, but I can't seem to find anyone with a complete set. ANY help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Replies to bitnet or UUCP accepted... mike (not really) -- Michael P. Kirby UUCP: ...rochester!ritcv!mpk9172 BITNET: MPK9172@RITVAX

I have the formats for all three Appleworks file structures. Also, a Pascal source code portion to read AWP files as a continuous string of ASCII characters. If you provide some contact information, I'll mail you a copy. The package is not online, so USPS will have to do. BTW, I infer from your message that you are looking at a one-direction transfer and am curious if that is correct?
