The problems experienced with finder are an insufficient memory problem from
my experience.  Try decreasing the MIN RAM Disk.  There may also be a problem
with too many da's I think 12 is max but I may be mistaken.  A way around that
is Glen Bredons Master.cda.  And of course the final solution add more memory.
Why apple ever sold the GS with less than 1meg is I can't figure other than 
price

Also be sure that both RAM DISK settings are the same (to avoid a Finder bug).

256K is what it takes to mimic the 128K Apple //e.

This could be my problem.  I have my minimum setting at 0k and my maximum
setting at 1024k..this seemed to work fine for me, except it told me that I
had I/O errors on my Ramdisk sometimes..
