I inherited an Apple][+ and have been using it to link up to a UNIX mainframe and a VAX/VMS machine via "Polarware". The Apple][+ keyboard does not support some of the DEC system commands. Could someone suggest software or hardware or both that will allow me to talk to other machines and emulate friendlier terminals? Thanks, Kevin Carlson ix59%sdcc6.ucsd.edu

Softerm II will allow you to emulate about 23 terminals made by ADDS,DataGeneral, Datapoint, DEC (VT52 & VT100) Hazeltine, HP, Honeywell, IBM, Lear Siegler and teleVideo (only specific models, of course). Softerm II will work on an Apple ][ and ][+ (as well as ][e and ][c). ****DISCLAMER: My comments, etc., are my own shakey opinions ******** | Bruce P.
