They are identical. The WDC data sheet is reproduced in its entirety in
the Eyes etc. book on the 65816. I have both, hence I fairly confident
of this statement.

P.S., the ISBN # for the book is 0-89303-789-3; disadvantage of using book
version -- do have good eyeballs!

Thanks for the info on the 65816 folks. I have one question on the books
people have recoemnded; how complete are the data sheets? I am primarily
interested in timing, signal explanations, and clock cycles for the
instructions. I want to make some comparisons to other processors.
