I posted a similar request a week or so ago, but I think that it got mangled. I have a European(UK) //e. (For those of you who don't know, the main difference is that the video output is in PAL and not NTSC format. Also, the motherboard layout is totally different, eg. the aux slot is in line with slot 3 ) I bought the US //e enhancement kit a few years ago. Of the four chips in the kit, 3 fit (viz. 65C02, and 2 monitor ROMs). However, the new video (character generator) ROM does not fit, as the given chip has a different number of pins to the chip to be replaced! A wrote to Apple, and received no response. Does anyone know how to help me, so that I can become fully enhanced without having to buy another enhancement kit. Or does anyone know where I can get a UK enhancement kit? Thanx in advance.
