About the high-pitched whine on TimeOut Ultra-Macros with mouse... Are you using a GS? If so, the GS puts out a lot of high-pitched sounds. I don't know where exactly these sounds come from, but you can hear them whenever anything gets drawn to the screen, anytime an interrupt occurs, and, especially, when the mouse is in action. Certain programs put out certain pitches, and it could be that TimeOut just hit the right frequency for you to hear. I was being adventurous one night, and I set out to track down that whining. It is definitely coming from the power supply. I suppose it could be because the processor is changing speeds/handling interrupts and is bouncing its power consumption levels around. As far as I know, it's not REALLY a problem, just a nuisance. (Like the Mac SE's fan) Any hardware hackers out there that are experienced with switching power supplies? Brian
