Kirk goofed again. When the Klingons allowed him to speak to his son and the others, wwhy didn't he lock on to their coordinates and beam them up immediately? That way he could have stunned everyone immediately wwwith phasers then sorted out the mess. Another point: since he made radio contact with the Klingon captain himself, and their craft was samll, why didn't Kirk beam the entire crew from the Klingon vessel to the enterprise. These actions would have eliminated the need for the death of Kirk Jr. and the Enterprise herself. And they said Kirk was a fast thinker.....
