I have a question for everyone... I have occasionally received files from Apple 2-L in the EXECUTIONER format (the packed format with all of the jumbled characters..) When I receive it, it comes from the MAIL facility so I download it through my capture buffer and then edit it... Unfortunately, I have never been able to get any of them to EXEC properly... It will either say. "whatever SAVED" and will work ok but if it requires unpacking with BLU, it will not be recognized as Binary II type.. Sometimes it will say "ERROR" but will be recognized as Binary II but there will be errors in program code... I own an Apple //gs but I have tried unpacking it on a //c also... I do seem to have better luck when EXEC'ing from a disk rather than a RAM disk... What is required by the EXECUTIONER... I know that there has to be a blank line after the last line of code (the MAIL facility ads 4 spaces on each blank line but I take these out) and I take out the leading space before the '#' .... I also notice that a space is added before the carriage return... Must I take this out too??? What is going wrong... I am most trying to get a KERMIT program so I can d-load without all of this hassle but I don't want to pay $80 for PROTERM just to get kermit and (due to the EXECUTIONER part) I can't seem to get KERMIT.380 to go.....
