I am currently waiting to see if my first attempts at sending to APPLE2-L work or not. If they do, I will post a really neat (and small) demo of a bouncing ball system for the //gs super hires mode. If my previous postings to APPLE2-L do not find their way there, i.e., you do not see BLU 2.27 and THE.EXECUTIVE coming across APPLE2-L anytime soon, and you want to see this demo, send me email and I'll be glad to pass it along, since it really is very short, and can be turned into an executable text file with no troubles.
