[comp.sys.apple] Emulation on a Apple IIc

I know this probably has been discussed before, so email me responses.

I have an Apple IIc at home.  At work I use a Wyse terminal with
Sun UNIX Version 3.2, and I edit with vi.  I want my Apple to emulate my
Wyse so I can use vi from home.  Is that possible?  Can someone help me? 
Does this make any sense?
