Sorry Larry, my sentence was a bit weird.  I should have said that Apple
appears to be out of the language *bundling* business, as in evidence by
the Macintosh, and that no attempt was made to make a better BASIC
available in ROM to IIgs owners, outside of the standard AppleSoft
for compatibility reasons.  Also the new GS Basic is being sold, not
bundled.  Since Apple is directly involved in the process of making
S Basic, and directly and indirectly invloved with MPQ
tool development, they are obviously still in the language business.
Sorry for typing such a blatently wrong sentence.
