Another message I just posted tells many other redeeming features of ProTERM as a terminal program. -tuu

I own and use these three communications programs :
ASCII EXPRESS__THE PROFESSIONAL
ASCII EXPRESS--MOUSETALK
PROTERM VERSION 2.0
proterm is by far the best of the three--AE the pro is still made and
supported, if you want to call it that, I have tried reaching their
support number dozens of times and it is always busy. I called their
sales department which of couse was not busy, and was told that if i
wanted to talk to support that I had to call them an hour or so before
they open and let the phone ring until they got there. The woman I
spoke to said that this was the only way to guarantee a session with support.
Checkmate, the distibuters of Proterm, have the best support organization
of any comp oriented company I have dealt with, they are always available,
always knowledgable(nice spelling, huh ?), and always friendly. Neither
AE product has anything that PROTERM does not, in
fact, PROTERM has much more than the AE products do. If any one wants
to buy my copy of AE_THE PRO I will sell it for $20, all docs included.
