I just got a note (with no USABLE RETURN address--'the unknown user') from a crestfallen //gs user who said that Boing-II did't work on his/her (how should I know?) machine. 1) I'm not sure what the deal is on that. 2) I just downloaded it from Apple2-l myself, and it worked. 3) I'm not sure how I feel about support for the //gs...those folks have all kinds of nifty software that doesn't even run in a reduced-feature mode on the ][ or ][+ or //e or //c or anything else. I can only test this kind of magic on my own machine. I have a ][+. If you (the unknown user) think it might help you, I could send you the source code. 4) I have had it run properly on a //gs, under ProDOS 8. (booting into ProDOS 8, that is...NOT using the //gs SYSTEM disk.) I hope you can get it to work. Let me know, and include a return address! ------------------------ PS. Anyone else having troubles? Write to MARK%ISIS@ATHENA.MIT.EDU, not to the whole mailing list. No one but me cares about bug reports on my software, right? Mark Kriegsman, Renaissance Project Mark%ISIS@Athena.MIT.EDU

Boing II worked just fine, under ProDOS 8, on my //gs. You think it's impressive on a generic //? Try it while accelerated...
