Could someone please give me some stats on Apple's Appletalk protocol for the //? I have seen an overview in this month's Open-Apple, but I need more info., such as why can't 64K //-Pluses work? How the implementation software works on the GS and why doesn't the //e need it? What is Share-Aware and how do you make a program like this? What are the capabilities of the net? Does the card for the //e act as a printer interface for the printer that is supposed to plug into it or is it a slave to the net (i.e., you can't use the printer unless the net is up)? and What does Aristotle do, and what would be involved in programming a more powerful version for business? etc. etc. Thanks in Advance, Capt.
