The only requirements to run recent releases of ProDOS are to have 64K and AppleSoft ROMs on the motherboard. This means that if you had an Apple ][, and switched the ROMs from off of a AppleSoft ROM card, you could run ProDOS. If memory serves me, you can run older versions (like 1.0.1) of ProDOS on a 48K machine, but it won't do much good because ProDOS loads into the top part of RAM, right where BASIC.SYSTEM (and most other software) like to relocate to. -- __ Mike Jetzer "If you can't be right, be forceful" uwvax!uwmcsd1!marque!studsys!jetzer
