I don't think that Prodos is up to addressing slots 9..F since, if I
remember correctly, some of the bit encodings for slots are only three
bits in length.  You might be able to hack Prodos, though, with
considerable effort.

In the back of A+ there is an ad for an interface called the "Megaboard",
which sells for $200, and allows the connection (allegedly) of an Apple II
to a Seagate hard disk.
