M Pender mentioned a problem running out of disk space while installing Kermit. You might try formatting a disk using Copy II+ or some other utility that doesn't put Dos on, thus effectively adding almost three tracks to your disk. You then would need to boot using another disk, type FP (I'm not really sure if that's necessary, but it certainly won't hurt), and then EXEC kermit as usual. Chris@brownvm asked about using Kermit under Prodos without having it run as a BIN file (changing it to a SYS file). Prodos has certain conventions (which I'm not really familiar with) for SYS files and they are not presently part of Kermit. Putting them in would probably require that separate versions for Dos and Prodos be developed, although I'm not certain of that. You can easily run Kermit under Prosel without explicitly loading BASIC.System yourself by setting it up under your Prosel menu. I don't recall exactly what the fields are called in the Prosel editor, but there are four of them. The first could be the name appearing on the menu, the second location of BASIC.SYSTEM, the third BASIC.SYSTEM and the fourth the name of the KERMIT program file.
