A friend of mine wants to install two custom printers in AppleWorks for better support of the NLQ mode of the printer - one for draft and one for final quality. Does somebody have any information about the structure of the SEG.PR file ? Are all printer informations contained in this file (including the definitions for the standart printers) ? How can a standart printer definition be modified for one purposes ? (this would allow proportional spacing in custom printers I suspect !). Or does anybody have an utility program to change key values in the SEG.PR file (I remember one being mentioned in the March issue of Open-Apple, but of course I prefer an electronic copy if possible). ExtraWorks Printer Utility, by Eugene M. Whitehouse, allows modification of the standard printer definitions. The address and price are in a back issue of Oppen-Apple. ****DISCLAMER: My comments, etc., are my own shakey opinions ******** | Bruce P.
