[comp.sys.apple] IBM hard drives on an Apple

  I know of a person in Georgia who took a Xebec hard drive for the 
IBM, an IBM Tech Ref, and a First Class Periph. Sider and 3 days 
later (or so the story goes) he had it working on the Apple.  From 
what Ive heard, he changed the ROM on the onboard controller so that 
they IBM and Apple ROMs were functionally equivalent.  I havent seen 
this first hand so take this with a grain of salt.
