Yes, you can get a hard drive -- there are about six types that I know of, but
the best is probably the ProAPP drives, available in both 10 and 20 megabytes.

If interested in more info, leave me mail and I'll post their address, and
current price on the drives.

And, yes -- most hard drives for the Apple //c will plug directly into the
externial port.
